Chris Barnard is CEO of Ouseburn Trust in the North East since 2014, a charity working to build a vibrant and sustainable future for the Ouseburn Valley; the Trust is a (former) SIB investee/grantee, and Chris has been a member of the SIB Community Panel since 2017. Chris has worked in the charitable sector for most of his career, including childcare centres, housing and construction, heritage, planning and transport. He understands the balancing act between effective business management, creating social value and needing the right funding and finance.
